(NYSE:AVT) today announced it will host its 2008 Analyst Day at The Crowne Plaza Times Square Hotel on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 starting at 8:00 a.m. (Eastern) and concluding at 12:00 p.m., followed by a luncheon from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. Presenting at the event will be Roy Vallee, Avnet's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer; Rick Hamada, Chief Operating Officer; Ray Sadowski, Chief Financial Officer; Harley Feldberg, President, Electronics Marketing; and John Paget, President, Technology Solutions.
